Misty Rodriguez is a freelance writer who was born and raised in Orlando, FL. She is a loving wife, and a proud mother of four beautiful children. She has a passion for writing, which began at an early age. Many of Misty's teachers swore that she would become a writer one day.

Writing Experience

Misty has over a decade of freelance writing experience. She started out with fiction and poetry, and still loves to write in those areas, but prefers writing that actually "pays the bills." Misty has written articles for Associated Content, Break Studios, Demand Studios and various private clients. She was also part of an amazing video mystery shopping company, where she evaluated the videos and produced professional narratives of each mystery shop.

Education

Misty obtained an AA degree, hoping to get her bachelor's in Elementary Education. However, when her mother became sick with cancer, Misty was her primary caretaker. It was this experience that guided Misty toward a career in nursing. She realized how much she loved taking care of others, and is now pursuing her BSN in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico.

Passions

The most important thing in Misty's life is her family. She loves going out and having fun with her children more than anything in the world. Misty's children are her biggest fans, and they keep her writing every day--not just for the paycheck, but because of how proud they are of their mother. Misty also loves the beach, Disney World (of course, she's a native of Orlando!) swimming and driving in the mountains.
